Following their premier 2012 event that garnered the largest gathering of angel investors and venture capitalists in Syracuse’s history, StartFast Venture Accelerator will hold its second Demo Day event on August 22, 2013 at the historic Landmark Theatre in downtown Syracuse. The event will showcase the achievements of several entrepreneurial companies, including StartUp Labs (Syracuse), HTR Launchpad (Rochester), Z80 Labs (Buffalo), and the 2013 Syracuse Student Sandbox, following the completion of the three-month StartFast program.
StartFast is a mentor-driven startup accelerator that provides software and Internet companies with the opportunity to complete an intense, three-month program that helps them get the funding and resources necessary to scale and achieve a successful exit. In addition to providing support from exceptional, globally connected mentors and program leaders, the program also guides participants through the daily challenges they may face as business owners. The program culminates in a Demo Day where each startup, hand-chosen by StartFast, has the opportunity to present to hundreds of investors.
