These days, everyone is talking about the infrastructure and technology that will facilitate the next generation of wireless capabilities. On October 7th, industry leaders in this space will converge at the Westin Diplomat Hotel in Hollywood, FL for the four-day 2013 Wireless Infrastructure Show to discuss exactly where the industry is headed.
A key company that will be participating in this year’s conference will be EdgeConneX, an industry leading Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) provider. Headquartered in Herndon, VA, EdgeConneX specializes in deploying small cellular network solutions for companies looking to offload heavy macrocell traffic.
EdgeConneX is a provider of space and power as well as connectivity solutions to wireless carriers, network providers, commercial real estate owners and enterprises. Its IaaS products speed up the deployment, de-risking and simplification of operations, while minimizing costs for companies.
Those who attend this year’s Wireless Infrastructure Show will have the opportunity to take part in a special session with EdgeConneX Executive Vice President Doug Wiest. Mr. Wiest will take part in a panel discussion titled “Small Cell Installation: Location, Power, and Backhaul”, taking place on October 8th at 10:45 AM. During his panel, Mr. Wiest will discuss how and where small cells will be located as the demand for them to increase network capacity is heightened. The panel will be moderated by Abrams Wireless’ CTO Ted Abrams and will include the following panelists: Randy Cobb, Partner at the Lyle Company; Will Dodge, Partner at Downs Rachlin Martin PLLC; G.S. Sickand, Principal Solutions Consultant at Ericsson; and Rao Yallapragada, Senior Director of Technical Marketing at Qualcomm.
The Wireless Infrastructure Show is expected to focus primarily on 4G mobile infrastructure solutions, while providing a peek at what is to come after 4G. Those in attendance will be given the opportunity to network with many different members of the mobile purchasing chain, from peers, to clients, to prospects. Additionally, attendees will be able to discuss important industry trends with infrastructure, carrier and service manager representatives.
