iMPR awardStrategic Market Messaging and Positioning for a Successful M&A: iMPR was brought in to reset the strategy of Sidera Networks to enable a successful M&A.  iMPR’s approach consisted of educating the marketplace about the company’s new direction, as well as reposition Sidera as a successful and viable operator.  Through leadership of the President, iMPR became the driver of a streamlined and sophisticated messaging platform across corporate communications, better aligning the company’s look and feel with its focus on delivering network solutions to large enterprise, carrier, and data center customers.  Additionally, this re-branding was executed through strategic media outreach, social media, press and efforts within the blogosphere.

iMPR’s efforts directly contributed to the effective positioning of Sidera Networks to execute a successful merger with Lightower, forming Lightower Fiber Networks. This deal, which was valued at over $2B, created an even more powerful network throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.

iMPRTeamatPRNEwsAwardsCrisis Management during Super Storm Sandy: During super storm Sandy, a leading hosting and colocation provider experienced a power outage and major flooding where the company’s back-up generators were stored.  As a result, its customers were knocked off-line and in the days that followed, the provider received negative press (from affected customers), who relied on their websites to function.

As a result of iMPR’s crisis and reputation management efforts, a situation that began with unhappy customers grew into clients fortifying their existing agreements with the company by early January.

Cause Marketing Focusing on the Newtown, CT Tragedy: iMPR championed outreach for a leading provider of Internet and managed hosting services, to organizations in Newtown, CT and surrounding cities following the Sandy Hook tragedy.  iMPR pioneered the effort to ‘provide the providers’, donating Internet and web hosting services to Newtown, CT area school districts, the United Way of Connecticut, Newtown Connecticut Youth and Family Services, Inc., and Northwestern Connecticut Community College — supporting the client’s PR and marketing efforts and coordinating the campaign from the back-end.
