EdgeConneX’s EVP of Wireless Services, Doug Wiest, has been traveling across the country participating at large conventions such as the Northeast DAS and Small Cell Association’s (NEDAS) Fall Educational Summit in Washington D.C., the Wireless Internet Service Provider Associations’ ‘WISPAPALOOZA’ in Las Vegas, and The Wireless Infrastructure Conference in South Florida. In addition to these wireless infrastructure events, the company also unveiled its new logo and Edge Data Center solutions for the content delivery industry at the North America Network Organization Group (NANOG) event recently held in Phoenix, AZ.
While speaking at the NEDAS Educational Summit, Wiest addressed the operational challenges and ROI effectiveness of DAS and small cell network solutions alongside fellow panelists Ray Hild of Corning MobileAccess and Joshua Broder of Tilson. He then went South to speak at the Wireless Infrastructure Show, participating in a panel discussion titled, “Small Cell Installation: Location, Power, and Backhaul” before heading to Las Vegas for the WISPAPALOOZA event. While at WISPAPALOOZA, Wiest participated on a NEDAS-sponsored panel discussing, ‘New Business Opportunities: Small Cells and Wholesale DAS’ alongside fellow panelists Jorge Forero of Taqua and moderator Art Meierdirk of INOC.
