Ilissa Miller brings more than 15 years of experience in sales, marketing and product development to her clients. With a wealth of experience and knowledge in the emerging global telecommunications and technology industries she has implemented and spearheaded many global product and marketing campaigns that included international private line and networks, IP transit, peering, IPVPN, hosted PBX, cloud computing, Ethernet, managed services, colocation and data center products and solutions.
Prior to founding iMPR, Mrs. Miller was the Managing Partner at Jaymie Scotto & Associates where she spearheaded the firms’ growth from 2008 through 2011. During this time, the company’s growth propelled the firm to be considered one of the leading PR & Marketing communication companies in the industry. With a roster of clients that included Global Capacity, FiberMedia Group, Sidera Networks, One Source Networks, XKL LLC, Neutral Tandem and many more, Ilissa’s leadership and strategic vision provided the foundation for these companies to achieve clarity in messages, increase their brand awareness in the market and position them for success.
Prior to JS&A, Ilissa was the Director of Marketing Communications and Public Relations for Telx, the Interconnection Company, she was a product marketing manager for Telstra, the Australian incumbent carrier, where she was responsible for the company’s International Private Line (IPL) and IPVPN/MPLS products and served as a channel marketing manager where she successfully positioned Telstra’s Asia-Pacific network solutions as a leading partner to various leading US-domestic network operators. From 2000 to 2004, Ilissa was with Band-X, Inc. the US subsidiary of Band-X the Exchange where she held roles that included Director of IP Services and served as the Director of Business Development and Marketing supporting the global marketing efforts of all Band-X’s products including procurement and exchange of global IPLs, colocation and voice minutes.
Mrs. Miller holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Writing and Literature from SUNY Potsdam where she also studied voice performance at Crane School of Music.
